Evaluation
Thorough history and review of your diagnosis, evaluation and assessment of the reasons why you are having a functional problem. This may or may not include range of motion (ROM), strength, balance, coordination, joint mobility, and posture.
Manual Therapy
Spine and joint mobilization, manual stretching, traction techniques, soft tissue mobilization/massage.
Patient Education
We make sure that you understand your diagnosis and how physical therapy can help you. This includes instruction with a written Home Exercise Program which will foster independence with the management of your problem.
Modalities
Application of hot or cold packs, electrical stimulation devices, therapeutic ultrasound, iontophoresis, and bracing/orthotics.
Exercise
Active, assisted, resistive, balance, cardiovascular, and gait training. Functional restoration including body/ lifting mechanics pertaining to your lifestyle.
Return to Work
Programs designed specifically to meet the needs of your occupation. We offer work conditioning programs which assist in the gradual progression to full capacity work load. |
